Annemarie Colbin, PhD, author of Whole Foods for Strong Bones: A Holistic Approach and many other books.
Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D., is an award-winning leader in the field of natural health and a highly sought-after lecturer and wellness consultant. She founded the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City in 1977 the oldest natural foods cooking school in the country. The associated Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health, where she teaches a number of popular lectures, offers a wide array of lectures and cooking classes for the general public on many styles of healthful cooking, incorporating a variety of dietary approaches, as well as on the uses of food as a healing tool for various health conditions. |

Dr. Colbin is adjunct professor of nutrition and teaches an undergraduate course in wholistic nutrition at Empire State College in New City, NY. She is a visiting lecturer at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, and has led workshops all over the country in such well-known institutions as the Omega Institute, The New York Open Center, and Kripalu Yoga Center.
She is the author of several books including Book of Whole Meals (Autumn Press, 1979; Ballantine Books, 1983) The Natural Gourmet (Ballantine Books, 1989, 1991), and Food and Healing (Ballantine Books, 1986, 1996). Whole Foods for Strong Bones: A Holistic Approach, will be published in 2008 by New Harbinger Publications.
Liz Lipski, PhD, CCN Is the host of the Access to Health Experts interview series. She holds a doctorate and is board certified in Clinical Nutrition, is the author of Digestive Wellness, Digestive Wellness for Children, and Leaky Gut Syndrome. She’s the Director of Doctoral Studies at Hawthorn University, and the nutrition editor for Pilates Style Magazine. Dr. Lipski is the founder of several web-based health information sites including Innovative Healing and Access to Health Experts. |
