Julie Matthews,CNC, has been a Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) practitioner for five years and often presents at the national DAN! conferences. Helping people with autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs) is her passion, as she's long been fascinated with biochemistry and the intricacies of the body's systems. When she first discovered that most people with ASDs also have imbalanced biochemistry, she was intrigued and wanted to learn more. She's been studying ever since.

      Matthews has been a Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) Practitioner for five years and often presents at the national DAN! Conferences. She studied holistic nutrition through Bauman College: Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts and holds a B.S. from U.C. Davis in agricultural and managerial economics. Matthews is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP), presents for Nourishing Our Children Campaign (Weston A. Price Foundation, San Francisco), and host a weekly radio show, "Reality Sandwich" in San Francisco.

      Liz Lipski, PhD, CCN Is the host of the Access to Health Experts interview series. She holds a doctorate and is board certified in Clinical Nutrition, is the author of Digestive Wellness, Digestive Wellness for Children, and Leaky Gut Syndrome. She’s the Director of Doctoral Studies at Hawthorn University, and the nutrition editor for Pilates Style Magazine. Dr. Lipski is the founder of several web-based health information sites including Innovative Healing and Access to Health Experts.
